What is robotic demolition?
Robotic demolition uses compact, remote-controlled demolition machines fitted with a hydraulic breaker, crusher, shear or bucket. The operator stands at a safe distance with a handheld controller, so nobody is under the hammer or breathing the dust. The machines are small enough to fit through a standard doorway or into a lift, yet hit harder than a much larger excavator.
Where does robotic demolition make sense over jackhammers or an excavator?
Anywhere access is tight, structure is sensitive or the environment is hazardous: basements, plant rooms, lift shafts, stairwells, bridges and culverts, kilns and furnaces, live industrial facilities, and any job where a 20-tonne excavator won’t fit or a crew on jackhammers would take weeks.
How much faster is it?
It depends on the concrete, but a demolition robot typically replaces five to ten labourers on hand-held breakers and removes the fatigue, vibration and rotation issues that slow a manual crew down. On most interior jobs we finish in days, not weeks.
Do you service outside Brisbane?
Yes. We are based in Brisbane and cover the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Toowoomba and all of Queensland, and we travel interstate for industrial, civil and mining work. See our locations or contact us with the site and program.
Can you work in a live building or plant?
That’s where robots shine. Electric-powered machines produce no exhaust, so we can work inside occupied buildings, hospitals, data centres and operating plants with dust suppression and noise management in place.
How much does robotic demolition cost?
