Bridge rehabilitation means working at height, over water or traffic, on structures that can’t take heavy plant. Our robots are light enough to sit on a deck and precise enough to remove only what the engineer has marked.
Civil structures are unforgiving. A bridge headstock repair needs the deteriorated concrete removed cleanly and the reinforcement left intact for the new pour. A culvert rehabilitation needs the work done inside a space with no room for plant. A possession on a rail bridge gives you a few hours, at night, to get in and out.
A demolition robot suits all three. It is light enough for most decks and scaffold platforms, its three-section arm reaches over parapets and under soffits, and its selective breaking leaves rebar in place. The operator stands on the safe side of the edge protection, so working over water, traffic or rail isn’t a fall-from-height exposure for a person.

The machines are light enough to be craned, lifted or driven onto most decks and heavy-duty scaffold platforms. We confirm the load rating with your engineer before mobilising and can set outriggers on spreader plates to distribute the load.
Yes. That’s the point of selective demolition. The operator works the breaker or crusher around the bars to remove concrete only, leaving reinforcement clean for the repair pour. Where the engineer wants bars removed we cut them with a shear.
Yes. Possession and night works are normal for civil clients. We plan mobilisation, set-up and demobilisation around the possession window so the productive hours go to breaking, not to getting ready.
Robotic breaking is far more controlled than an excavator-mounted hammer, and switching to a crusher reduces vibration further. Where a vibration limit is specified we plan the attachment and sequence to stay under it.
