Refractory relines
Kiln, calciner, furnace and ladle refractory tear-out during scheduled shutdowns.
Alumina and cement in Gladstone, coal in the Bowen Basin, minerals processing in Townsville and Mount Isa, ports and power stations along the coast. When a shutdown needs refractory or concrete broken out fast and safely, we bring the robot to you.
Regional Queensland’s industry runs on shutdowns. Kilns get relined, crushers get rebuilt, boilers get repaired, and every hour of the outage is costed. A manual crew inside a hot kiln, a confined hopper or a dusty transfer point is slow, and often can’t start until the vessel has cooled enough for people. A remote-controlled demolition robot starts sooner, works faster and keeps the crew outside the hazard.
We plan regional and mining shutdowns well ahead: pre-shutdown site visits, inductions and permits sorted before mobilisation, machines and attachments matched to the scope, rotating operators for 24-hour coverage, and transport and accommodation built into the quote. Interstate work is by arrangement.

Concrete and liner removal at crushers, mills, chutes and transfer stations in processing plants.
Boiler, ash-hopper and cooling-tower concrete works during planned outages.
Concrete foundation and structure works at ship loaders, stackers and reclaimers.
Hardened product build-up removed inside cement, alumina and mineral storage.
Equipment bases removed for plant upgrades and replacements without an excavator in the plant.

As a fixed price or a day rate for the shutdown, with mobilisation, travel and accommodation as clear line items. For multi-week programs we’ll price the whole shutdown so you have a single number to plan with.
Our operators complete the site-specific inductions and the generic mining inductions required for the sites we work on, and we build the lead time for those into the plan.
Yes. Round-the-clock shutdown coverage with rotating operators is standard for our industrial and mining clients.
Yes, by arrangement, for industrial, civil and mining projects where a specialist robotic crew makes sense. Give us the scope and the dates and we’ll tell you what’s possible.
