Robotic demolition in Ipswich & Logan

Manufacturing, logistics, rail, defence and a lot of concrete. Ipswich, Logan and the growth corridors between them and Brisbane are industrial territory, and industrial sites are where remote-controlled demolition pays for itself fastest.

Ipswich & Logan

Industrial and logistics specialists

The Ipswich and Logan corridors are home to some of south-east Queensland’s heaviest industry and biggest logistics estates: rail workshops, food and beverage plants, quarries and concrete plants, distribution centres at Berrinba, Crestmead, Redbank and Swanbank. When a production line is being replaced or a slab is being reconfigured, the demolition usually has to happen around live operations and inside a shutdown window.

A demolition robot suits that perfectly. It works inside the plant without exhaust, it breaks out machine bases and plinths faster than a crew, and it does it with the operator standing clear. We’re a short run from Brisbane, so mobilisation is quick and we can cover weekend and overnight shutdowns.

FAQ

Ipswich & Logan: common questions

Can you work inside a live manufacturing plant?

Yes. Our machines are electric so there’s no exhaust on the floor, dust is captured at the tool, and we work to your permit, isolation and food-safety requirements. Most plant work is scheduled around production in shutdown windows.

How do you handle weekend shutdowns?

We staff them. For a weekend shutdown we mobilise Friday, work through with rotating operators if needed, and hand back before Monday’s start-up.

Do you cover the Scenic Rim and Lockyer Valley?

Yes. Beaudesert, Boonah, Gatton and Laidley are within our normal range from Brisbane.
