Robotic demolition on the Gold Coast

High-rise basements, resort refurbishments, waterfront properties with no side access and a fast-growing civil program. The Gold Coast keeps our robots busy, and it’s an easy run down the M1 from Brisbane.

Gold Coast

High-rise, waterfront and hinterland

The Gold Coast’s building stock is unusual: dense high-rise along the beachfront, canal-estate homes with tight side access, large resort and retail complexes, and a hospital and university precinct that keeps expanding. Almost all of it is concrete, and almost none of it has room for an excavator once the building is up.

That’s where a demolition robot fits. We take the machine down a tower’s car-park ramp to rework a basement, through a resort’s back-of-house to cut a new void, or along a 900 mm side path to break out a backyard pool. Same-week mobilisation from Brisbane is typical for Gold Coast jobs.

FAQ

Gold Coast: common questions

Do you charge extra to travel to the Gold Coast?

Mobilisation is quoted separately and for the Gold Coast it’s modest — it’s a straightforward run from Brisbane. For multi-day jobs it’s a small part of the total.

Can you remove a concrete pool with no side access?

Yes. If there’s a path or gate wider than about 800 mm, the robot tracks in under its own power, breaks the shell, and we barrow or conveyor the rubble out. It’s the usual answer for canal-estate and hillside blocks.

Do you work in occupied Gold Coast towers?

Yes. Electric machines with no exhaust, dust suppression at the tool and a crusher option for noise let us work in occupied residential and hotel towers, typically in agreed hours set with the body corporate or management.

Got a job in Gold Coast?

Send us the drawings or a few photos and we’ll tell you straight whether a robot is the right call — and what it’ll cost.
